That's right today we touch on the M word menopause. You don't have to be 50 or over to go through menopause, women who have had the ovaries removed will go straight into menopause, which give you a small indication of how menopause begins. 

As a baby in our mother's womb, we are given a certain number of eggs in both ovaries, and when our period begins, we begin to release one of those eggs each month. Up until none remain and then menopause occurs. Usually, this is around 45 to 55 year of age.
